Voting is now open for the Charlton Athletic Young Player of the Year 2019/20.
This season’s vote will take place via an online ballot and voting is open to Valley Gold members ONLY. The closing date is 13 July 2020 (12 pm).
Members can cast their vote by clicking here and selecting one of the following players:
Alfie Doughty – Age 20
Left-sided, quick attacking player, with 26 appearances behind him and most of them this season as he has broken into the Championship squad. Been at the Academy since he was Under 9.
George Lapslie – Age 22
Hard-working, energetic midfield player, made his debut in 2016/17 and now made 47 apps ( as of July 3rd ). Has been with the Academy since 2009 and part of the promotion-winning squad last season.
Albie Morgan – Age 20
Creative, technically gifted midfield player. 34 appearances in the first team. Part of the promotion squad last season and consolidated his first-team position in the second half of 2019/20.
The winner will be announced at the end of the season.
