Aaron Henry’s stunning strike for Charlton’s Under 23s against Millwall at the Den has been voted the January 2022 Academy Goal of the Month.
The young midfielder and dead-ball specialist struck the 78th-minute free-kick from 22 yards out low into the bottom right-hand corner drawing Charlton level in the 3-2 win over their South London rivals.
Aaron’s effort was chosen by Charlton Supporters in an online vote organised by Valley Gold, beating four other contenders.
