On Monday afternoon Charlton U23’s were held to a draw by Watford in the Professional Development League 2 South fixture.
The U23’s have scored in every game this season but they barely had a sniff at the DGS Marine Stadium with chances at a premium. However, there were some positives to take from the game.
Firstly it was the second time this season the U23’s have kept a clean sheet and secondly it continues the run where they have only lost one game this season.
The result leaves the U23’s seventh in the league.
The next game is against local rivals Millwall on Monday, the 1st October
Charlton U23s: Maynard-Brewer, Stevenson, Birch, Cummings, Blumberg, Maloney, Sarpong-Wiredu, Dempsey, Morgan, Ocran, Anderson.
Subs: Osaghae, Zemura, Carey, Baghuelou.
