Members can choose from the four players shortlisted by Academy Director Steve Avory:

Miles Leaburn

Miles has burst onto the First Team scene this year, having completed his scholarship in June 2022 and then signing his first professional contract. He has made 33 appearances, 17 of them in the starting XI. Scored 11 goals with 3 assists. A very exciting prospect, clearly a good player, but a very well-rounded individual who will continue to work hard to develop his technical and tactical ability. Defenders – watch out !!

Lucas Ness

The 20-year-old centre-back has never looked back since joining Torquay United on loan in November, before returning in December and grabbing his opportunity to establish himself in the starting XI. Has now made 19 appearances, 18 of them starts. He has become a model of consistency, difficult to beat in the 1v1 battles and has certainly developed this year with his ability and confidence on the ball

Richard Chin

A testament to long-term development. Richard has come through the academy since U9. Initially, a midfield player who has developed in the last few years as a very good 1v1 defender with fantastic stamina and speed. His performance in the Carabao Cup v Brighton was a particular highlight this season. Now on loan trying to help Dartford in their promotion push. Richard has made 11 appearances, 7 starts since his debut in the 2021/22 season.

Tyreece Campbell

Tyreece has come through the Academy since Foundation phase. An exciting wide player, with the impressive ability to dominate in the 1 v1 attacking situation, luring defenders to the ball and then going past at speed. Has been a regular goal scorer for Academy teams and now looking to add to his tally at senior level. He has now clocked 19 appearances in the First Team with 10 starts, 1 goal and 2 assists this season. A player with so much attacking potential.
