The Academy boys started the Newell’s Cup tournament with a resounding 4-0 win over Rosario-based Alba.
Academy Head of Coaching Adam Lawrence said after the win: “It was a good first win. We played some good football and score good goals, although the scoreline could have been even more comfortable.”
Scorers for the Academy were Max Connor, Henry Rylah, Chibike Okechukwu and Diago Pereira.
A nice start with two games today facing Griffa and then Adea Alianza.
