Think you could beat a team of Charlton favourites at a pub quiz?
On Monday, February 26th (7-10pm) ‘Team Addicks’ will be hosting a Charlton Quiz Night, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, giving supporters the chance to test just that.
Hosted by Sky Sports’ Scott Minto at The Marriott Hotel in Bexleyheath, among the competitors will be Manager Karl Robinson, Lee Bowyer, Johnnie Jackson, Carl Leaburn, Kevin Lisbie, Bob Bolder and Garry Nelson.
The quiz will consist of a traditional pub-type quiz and will also feature its own special Charlton rounds, which will include a picture round and a what-happened-next round.
Tickets can be purchased online, in person from the Valley Superstore or by phone and Charlton supporters are encouraged to enter teams of up to 10 people. On the night fans will be asked to give £1 per team member to the prize pot.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting one in eight white men and one in four black men. It’s a huge issue that cannot be ignored. One man will die from prostate cancer every 45 minutes in the UK, which equates to over 11,000 men a year. Based on current trends, this number will rise to over 14,500 men a year by 2026 if nothing is done.
