It was a sad day on the 24th of February when Derek Ufton stepped down from the Valley Gold committee.
The whole of the committee on behalf of the membership was sad to see him leave, and fellow committee member and chair Matt Baker presented the Charlton legend, who made 263 appearances for the club from 1949-1960 with an engraved memento to thank him for his time serving on the committee.
